Nancy Pelosi’s speech was amazing today. I never expected a politician to say it all so well. These bankers privatized their money and got rich. Now when they’re losing it because they drove their companies into the ground they want to sail down on a golden parachute on the backs of the US tax payers.
McCain definitely looked like a moron. He was so confident the bill was going to pass he actually tried to take credit for it. It didn’t pass though!!! The House finally stood up and DID something. I’m so happy they voted no.
I’m waiting to see what he tries to say now. He’s about to make a speech.

My grandmother can be a complete and total psycho sometimes. She wakes up in a bad mood and it must make her feel better to scream at and put down everyone else. She expects me to bring Ryan out to the bus 20 minutes early or something. She starts yelling 20 minutes before I usually bring him out there. When I already bring him out earlier enough for us to have to stand there for ten minutes. There was no way I was going out early today. It’s still pouring rain. And the mosquitoes are crazy because it’s humid as hell and hot even though it’s been storming for days now.
My uncles still living here. He’s an awesome guy when he’s sober. But sadly that isn’t very often at all. I learned once again the other morning it isn’t a good idea to drink with him. We just end up arguing. I shouldn’t be drinking anyway, period. But it was hard not to during the Presidential debates. They were pathetic. They were pathetic.
McCain’s emotional appeals to everything sickened me. Obama was right up behind him with them after it was clear that’s what the debates were going to be about. I DO think Obama won though. He pretty much owned every little snide remark McCain sent his way. And McCain not even looking at him and refusing to address him directly made MCCAIN look horrible. Who’s the “elitist” bastard now?
Last night I finally watched the Sex and The City movie. A lot of it– over the first half of this two and a half hour movie was depressing as hell. It seriously made me want to claw my face to bloody ribbons as Cetta and I would say. The end wasn’t bad though. Although I thought it was totally out of character for Samanthas character. I’ll shut up there so I won’t spoil anything for anyone.

I’m downloading the Sex and The City movie. It came out on DVD today, but it still isn’t On Demand for some reason. Usually movies come on there as soon as they come out! I wanted to see this in the theater so bad last summer. No one wanted to go though.
For the longest time Sarah Jessica Parker said she wasn’t going to make it because they wanted to kill off Mr Big. That would technically make the end of the series pointless. I’m guessing that ending to the movie was changed since she finally agreed to making the movie.
This needs to hurry up and download!

One thing a lot of people seem to overlook when redecorating is lighting. Light can bring out the colors in any room. Not to mention make them look bigger and more spacious. It has a lot to do with paint colors too. If you have the right lighting you don’t have to paint your walls white. I personally hate white walls. they can be near impossible to keep clean. I’ve been browsing around maxim lighting all day trying to find some new lights for my room.

I’ve always suffered from really dry skin. The one plus to that is I’ve never had acne. My friends on the other hand weren’t so lucky. My sons Dad has had horrible acne since he was a teenager. Even still at 27 he’s yet to find a lasting acne cure. He swears eating well helps though. He was telling me the other day that when he stops drinking Soda and eating things with tons of sugar his skin clears up a lot.

This was on Sci-Fi today. I absolutely LOVE this movie. It’s about four hours long but defintely worth watching if you have the time. It follows Merlins life from birth. It’s really interesting because it ties so many stories together. Even King Arthur, Guienivere and Lancelot, and the quest for the Holy Grail. A lot of it has to do with the old Gods too. Merlins fighting against Queen Maab. She tries and tries to make the people believe in her again because when they stop believing in the old gods she’ll disappear. But she’s evil and cruel. Merlin want’s her to disappear, and he wants to find a human worthy of being king who can rule with a pure heart.
I first saw this movie way back when I was about 14 one day when I stayed home from school. It’s still great as ever. Justin likes it too. When I was at his house we watched an other version of it called “Merlin’s apprentice” which is newer. But it sucked.
