Alliance

I’m making a Druid on magtheridon Alliance on World Of Warcraft so I can play with Ryan and Chris. Normally I play Horde with Justin. Ryan really likes playing with his Dad though, and he won’t play Horde. Ryan and I’s accounts are linked for an other month so I guess I’ll make him a 60 Horde Character and a 60 Alliance. He used to play Chris’s accounts but Chris had to lock them down with secure I’d since someone kept stealing them. How crazy is that to need a secure ID for WOW accounts?

True Blood!

I’ve been making Justin watch True Blood every night since he got here. ( Except the Night we spent in Boston of course. ) He doesn’t have HBO at home so he never got to watch it before. He loves it just like I knew he would. How can anyone not love this show?

Since I’ve been watching it with him I’ve caught on to some things I didn’t notice the first time around. A lot of “surprises” in the show were pretty apparent from the beginning if you knew what to look for.

I still can’t decide who my favorite character is. They’re all so complex and different.

lawsuit against the Vatican

A US federal appeals court has ruled that a lawsuit against the Vatican over claims it covered up decades of child sex abuse by priests can go ahead.

The case was filed by three men from Kentucky who say they were abused by clergy in their childhood.

It centres on a 1962 directive from the Vatican – made public in 2003 – which told church officials not to disclose sex abuse complaints against priests.

The US Roman Catholic Church has been plagued by a string of abuse scandals.

On a visit to the US earlier this year, Pope Benedict XVI criticised US bishops for their handling of the child sex abuse crisis, saying their response had sometimes been very poor.

In ruling the Kentucky lawsuit could go ahead, the Sixth US Circuit Court of Appeals upheld an earlier decision by a district judge.

Although the Vatican is largely protected from lawsuits, the court ruled that clergymen could be taken to court as part of their role as Roman Catholic Church employees.

I’m glad that the pope wants to prosecute these priests. After so many American Clergyman covered up these acts of sexual abuse a lot of Catholics began to lose faith in the church. A lot of churches around here even closed down. Even my grandmother who’s been a lector in the Catholic Church for years said she didn’t know what was going to happen with the churches after that big scandal in Boston. She was pretty disgusted as were the rest of us.

TV

I think my Mom’s going to get me a Plasma TV for Christmas! I’ll be so happy if she does. The TV I have now is ancient. It’s a huge 10 year old TV from Walmart. I’d love to be able to play my Xbox and Wii on a new Plasma TV. Plus I could get one of those nice tv lifts to put it on. My room would look so much neater.

Skin

My cousin has always had really bad acne. When we were teenagers her skin was horrible. She’d get the biggest nastiest zits I’ve ever seen. She had tons of blackheads too. Her face was covered. She tried everything to clear up her skin. Even creams and pills. Nothing worked. Now as an adult her skin is a little better but she still has acne. I’m trying to convince her to try this new acne treatments.

This happens every year.

It seems like every year around the Holidays I start to gain weight. The past few years have been even worse because I developed a bad back about 2 years ago. This year I’d really like to lose weight instead. Every diet I’ve tried so far has failed. Even Weight Watchers I couldn’t keep up with. Buying all that food was just way too expensive. And I really don;t have that much time to cook. This year I’m going to try the alli diet pill.
