I know I’m not the only person who wants to jump out the window every time it’s time to pay bills lately. The recession hit everyone pretty hard it seems. We all have too much money owed and not enough coming in. For months I’ve been looking for ways to cut back on spending. Canceling subscriptions, canceling credit cards, cutting back on power used. I started only buying food that’s on sale. The bigger bills remain though. I need to find a cheaper auto insurance quote. I’m dreading heating bills this winter as well.

I got a sunburn from sitting out at the pool with my cousin and Ryan for two days. Especially my face. My cheeks were bright red last night! They’re better now though. It just faded into a tan. I don’t burn very often. As pale as I am when I stay out of the sun my skin can tan really dark. So usually I’ll burn once at the beginning of the summer then not again. It still worries me though. The sun causes wrinkles faster than anything. Maybe I should start using face wrinkle creams as a preventative.

Seeing all the comments on the blogs and sites that wrote about Brad Pitt being on Bill Maher completely disgusted me! All anyone seemed to care about was what he LOOKED like. The man wasn’t there for a fashion show. He was there to talk about very important issues facing our country. But obviously a majority of Americans are too stupid and shallow to care about anything but what people look like. OH NO HE HAD A BEARD? WHO THE FUCK CARES? The man is spending a TON of HIS OWN money to help rebuild New Orleans and to feed people all around the world. WHO GIVES A SHIT IF HE GREW A BEARD.
I don’t see how people expect him to look like he did in Interview With The Vampire or Legends Of The Fall. Do people not realize those movies were made over 14 years ago? Just because YOU don’t mentally mature doesn’t mean the rest of the world doesn’t age. Grow the fuck up.

The heat this summer is absolutely terrible. I don’t ever remember a summer more humid. It’s driving me crazy. Even breathing is difficult with humidity like this.
Today I woke up completely drenched in sweat. It was disgusting. My bedroom was like an oven. Even my air conditioner can’t keep up with the heat. I don’t understand why either. I had it re serviced at the end of last summer so it can’t need to be re serviced again already. I probably just need some new air conditioner filters or something. Thankfully next summer I’ll be in a new home with central air.

My cousin and her friend came over today. It was nice. I hadn’t seen her for a long time. We were all swimming out at my Grandmothers pool. My son was excited to see her as well. They were water fighting with these huge squirt guns.
I love hanging out at the pool with my friends and family. This summer it’s kind of uncomfortable for me though. I’ve gained a lot of weight. My aunts and cousins are all really skinny and pretty. They still wear these adorable bikinis and just look great. I won’t even go swimming in just a bathing suit. I wear shorts and a T shirt over it.
I’d give anything to look great in a bikini again. Working out just isn’t enough. If my diet doesn’t start picking up speed I’m starting to consider using weight loss pills. My metabolism is terrible.

I’m going to talk about social security disability. I wonder why it is so hard in some states for people who need it to get it? My cousin for example is legally blind. She can’t drive. She can’t use a computer without super expensive special software and or hardware. She’s going to school but it’s near impossible for her to find a job she can do while going. She can’t even use the registers at fast food restaurants.
However when she turned 18 and had to apply for disability on her own ( before then her mom got it ) she was denied multiple times. This led to years with no income.
Why is it that someone with a real disability can have so much trouble getting help? And other people can get it for things like drug addiction that they’ve done to themselves? It’s extremely unfair.
