My uncle’s doing over the bathroom up here for my Grandmother soon after I move out into the new house. I’m trying to talk him into putting in one of those walk in tubs for her. I think it would be much safer and easier for her to use with her rheumatoid arthritis being so bad. They’re not so expensive as they used to be either. And they don’t look bad. They actually look better than the old shower that’s in there now.
I’m really glad he’s living here now. I’d be worried about moving if my Grandmother would have to be here alone. I will be close enough to come over and visit her every day even, though. I can even WALK over.

I’ve been reading a lot of the rumors about John Travolta the past few Months. Ever since his son died ( may he rest in peace
), there have been a ton of rumors going around that Travolta might just be leaving Scientology. The Church of Scientology doesn’t believe in autism and doesn’t want it’s members treated for diseases it doesn’t believe in. Travolta’s son was autistic AND suffered from a seizure disorder. It seems the church also doesn’t believe in treating seizure disorders so the poor kid went untreated for years. He ended up having a seizure in the bathroom and dying.
When he first died Travolta denied all rumors of leaving the church of Scientology, but now he refuses to comment. He also publically announced that his son did in fact have Autism, which someone who planned to stay in Scientology’s good graces most likely would not say.
There are also huge rumors going around that if Travolta chooses to leave and or speak against the church that they will announce his homosexual affairs. The leader of Scientology is quoted on cracking jokes and comments about Travolta’s “promiscuous homosexual affairs” in which came out during Scientology’s famous “auditing” sessions. Where they have their members confess everything they have done “wrong”.
I for one hope he just straight up tells the church to piss off. They’re a sick and twisted cult that have been using and robbing him for YEARS. And now they’ve taken much more than just his money and publicity. Any religion that will keep you from treating your childs documented medical illness is DANGEROUS. And this poor kid is dead. The rumors about him being homosexual would have already done their damage by now anyway. So there’s no reason for him to be afraid of the blackmail. Wasn’t it always obvious anyway?

I’ve been seeing a LOT of commercials on TV lately for the best weight loss pills. It’s making me angry that I can’t think of the name of the pill. It starts with an A and has a bunch of stars on the commercials and everything. Even some famous country singer. There’s also some lady on there saying her husbands a doctor and he wouldn’t allow her to take it if it wasn’t safe.
If this is seriously a prescription-and safe, I’m going to ask my doctor about it. When I get a new doctor anyway.. Up until a few months ago I was seeing these two doctors who were husband and wife. They seemed cool and I liked them a lot until one day they just disappeared. I called to make an appointment and the office was just GONE. Now finally I find their new website and it seems they’ve turned into some religious practice that only takes expensive insurance and won’t prescribe birth control, pain killers, or really much of anything. I don’t know if it’s infuriating or hilarious.

There’s some speculation going around that Larry King may retire when his contract is up in 18 months. Though he himself says he probably won’t.
"I’m signed through 2011 . . . then we’ll see," said King. "I should retire? Retire to what? If I didn’t work, I don’t know what I’d do. I’ll probably fall over right on the set one night."
I really hope he doesn’t. Larry King is awesome! He’s an American icon who’s show is like no one else’s. I remember when he was on Real Time with Bill Maher, Bill Maher brought up the fact of how Larry King doesn’t talk a lot. He simply asks questions and listens. Larry said something like it’s because people watch a show to see the guests. His shows time is for his guests to speak and that he can do his speaking when he’s a guest ( like he was on Bill Maher ).
I can’t imagine any of these people that are speculated in replacing him measuring up at ALL.
“Rumored contenders to take Larry’s chair include ‘American Idol’ host Ryan Seacrest, network anchors Diane Sawyer and Katie Couric, CNN correspondent John King and co-host of ‘The View’, Joy Behar.”
Any of those mentioned replacing someone like Larry King HAS to be a joke.

I really need some new shoes! It seems that I have somehow grown out of most of my shoes. How that happens at 25 I’ll never know.. I seriously thought my feet were done growing by now. I was wrong though. My Grandmother said feet never stop growing. Who would of thought?
I’ve been looking at some Dansko shoes. The prices on this site are so amazing and I’ve found a few pairs I really like. Especially the UGG’s. They’re so comfortable for fall and winter time. I love the UGG clogs too.

My Mothers been talking about getting a life insurance plan for a while now. Especially since she bought the new house. Honestly life insurance is something I’ve never looked into. I know I’m not the only one either. People don’t like thinking about dying. I even hate seeing those Gerber commercials for baby life insurance. It makes me sad thinking a baby would need it.
But just because this kind of thinking is common doesn’t make it right. We NEED life insurance. Adults especially. Funerals are expensive. Our loved one’s have to suffer enough from our loss, do we really want to leave them with a 6k bill as well? I think everyone needs to get a good life insurance policy.
