A lot has happened since I last updated. Justin and I broke up for good. I’m okay though. I’m actually really happy for the first time ever. I realized I don’t need a relationship to make me happy. I can be happy with myself. That’s something I wish I learned a long time ago, but there’s no point in regretting the past. I’m moving forward now, and that’s all that matters.

I’m pretty sure all the main things are done. The heat is working, the water heater was changed, electrical supplies and plumbing materials ordered. A lot of it is even finished by now. I think mostly what is left to be finished is plastering the walls and such. The floors aren’t down yet either. There’s also a ton of things to be done in the kitchen. They have to rip out and replace part of a wall and the cabinets due to mold. The house had a bad roof when my parents bought it and there was water damage.

Supposedly that won’t take too long though, according to the builders. But then again they said the house would have been done months ago..

It made me realize that I need to keep all or most of my websites registered in one place. I still register most with Bluehost even though I switched my hosting over to Hostgator over a year ago now. They’re simple and pretty cheap. I like Godaddy but they just seem so cluttered to me. Their website in general confuses me sometimes.

I started up a new blog about games to replace my old ones. I wonder if my host and wordpress has the entries backed up. If they do maybe I can just upload them to my new game blog?

I’ve been looking at home security systems for the new house. I know they’re expensive but the benefits are worth it.

I still don’t have a doctor due to my insurance sucking so I’m probably going to have to go to the hospital this weekend.

Since I’m an Avon representative I did most of my shopping there buying things on sale. Avon has some great deals during the Holidays. Check out my store is you’re interested.

I was checking out the official Oprah store. They have a ton of great items and a lot of great deals. There’s some nice cashmere sweaters and other winter clothing. They also just had a huge workout sale that was 20% off a lot of workout products. The yoga clothing is really nice.

There’s a stocking stuffer sale going on right now!!! I love the socks and baby hats and blankets. There’s a ton of clothes and other products on clearance too. The O baby stuff is adorable, and the prices are great. I might pick some up for my friend who just had a baby.

So I was looking around to replace it. It seems I can get the old version I already had for like 86$. It was over 300$ 8 years ago.. but now there is a new version that’s much much better. The new one doesn’t even have to be opened up to clean. You just wipe down the outside. Sadly the new one is over 300$. There’s no way I can afford that right now.

I’m debating on if I should buy the old version or not.

I feel bad for people working today, I remember working Black Friday ( or white friday they called it ) at Filenes. It was hell! So many customers making you check prices on everything. Filenes was too cheap to put in a barcode scanner so customers could check prices themselves. There was also non stop cleaning. People are so messy during holiday shopping. Especially Women. People just leave everything on the floor in the women’s dressing room. Such wonderful memories.. oh how I miss working retail. :X
