It’s embarrassing to admit that after all these years I still never got my license. Today I finally scheduled a road test. Tomorrow I’m going to practice parallel parking so I won’t show up and fail like a moron. That’s the one reason I was always afraid to take the test. My Dad taught me how to drive when I was 10 but parallel parking has always been hard for me. I’ve watched some videos online that make it look so easy. But when I’m driving it just ISN’T for some reason! Maybe tomorrow I’ll get used to it.
I can’t keep going on without a license. It’s too hard to get to work and crap. Especially now that I’m a single Mother. Not having one has made things difficult ever since Chris moved to California.

So lately I’ve gotten these tiny little bumps on my arms. I couldn’t figure out what they were or why I was getting them. I shower or take a bath daily and I wash my bed sheets every week. I haven’t changed to any kind of new soap or anything so it really didn’t make much sense at all. I thought it was some kind of strange acne. So i asked my doctor about treatment for adult acne. Turns out it was a type of eczema. I’ve always really had dry skin. She told me to keep moisturizing it and they’ll eventually go away. I probably made it worse since I kept scrubbing it in the shower thinking it was some type of clogged pores.
I really dislike having such dry skin. I have to use so much moisturizer every single day. It’s expensive! Usually I use Avon’s since it seems to work the best. I just hope it works on this.

I just got home from the doctors with my son. He has strep throat AGAIN. His tonsils are even more huge than they have been too. I got a referral for ear nose and throat. Hopefully he can get his tonsils removed this summer so he won’t miss so much school next year. I feel really bad for him. He has a fever, headache, and is throwing up and everything. The nurse sent him home from school really early. He must have gotten sick as soon as he got there because he was pretty much fine before he left.
I hope he’s better by Friday. Friday is his last day of school before summer vacation. If he isn’t I’ll go up and pick up his report card and everything.

When I used to be an Avon representative the most requested products were always anti aging and wrinkle creams. It seems women are scared to death of wrinkles more than anything. It makes sense. In our society as men get older they are considered more attractive and distinguished. As women get older we are seen as used up and ugly. It’s a horrible double standard but it does exist. I’m only 25 so I don’t use any wrinkle creams myself, even though people constantly tell me that I should for preemptive measures. If I do start using wrinkle products I’m going to try prototype 37c. It seems to be the best. Everyones raving about it. Especially since Avon’s is all so confusing. They have so many different wrinkle products I wouldnt even know where to begin.

We have a huge basement in the new house. I kind of want to turn one side into a home theatre. It would be fun. Plus the basement is huge. There’s definitely enough room. I’ve been looking around at prices and since we already have the huge TV everything else would be pretty cheap. Even the home theater seating. Building a wall and carpeting would take no time at all. Plus imagine the fun my son and his friends would have down there?

Ryan has a heritage project due tomorrow that I totally forgot about. I forgot to get poster board and index cards at the store too. Now I have to run up there and grab them at the last minute. He decided to do Scotland so he could write about Braveheart. They’re allowed to pick any country as long as they have heritage there. Originally he was going to do Ireland but there’s two kids in his class who actually moved there from Ireland so he figured they’d both be doing it already.
I need to get some hair dye while I’m out. My hair is all fading.
