Car Company Bailout
I’m really sick of hearing about this bailout on the news. like we’re supposed to believe the car companies are fighting so hard for this bailout from our government to stop them from going bankrupt and closing. Just like before we were supposed to believe ( and some of us fell for it, partly me when the second vote took place ) that the House was really looking out for our best interests during the whole wallstreet bailout. It’s obvious a show is just being put on. Of course they’ll bail out the car companies. Especially when the people will be the ones stuck with the bill.
I really don’t see why it should fall to us to bail out Wallstreet and car Companies. A lot of us don’t even have a bank account because we don’t have any money to put in it. A lot of us don’t even own a car because we can’t afford one or the gas to put in it. Why then should it be us to pay to save these rich fucks who blew billions irresponsibly? If we went bankrupt tomorrow who would bail us out?
I keep hearing about how if GM, Ford, and Chrysler aren’t bailed out tons of American jobs will be lost. Saving American jobs in a time when they’re few and far between is in my opinion a good reason to help. But isn’t it these same companies that recently moved most jobs over to Canada because they couldn’t pay Employee health insurance in America? If so I think that they should be forced to move the jobs BACK here since Americans will be the ones working to pay off their debt.
I agree with what Bill Maher said. The oil companies should be the ones bailing out the car companies since the car companies have produced oil and gas guzzling cars when they should have been working on more hybrids.
