While Justin was here we watched the first season and half the second season of HBO’s Deadwood because he had never saw it before. He seemed to like it. I love Deadwood. Is it true that there’s going to be a movie to finish the series? I heard there may be. Kind of like the Sex And The City Movie. I really hope there is. I HATE when HBO just ends shows without an ending. Like Carnivale, Deadwood, The Sopranos, etc….
My Dad has Deadwood seasons 1 and two on DVD. ( That’s what I was watching with Justin. ) I couldn’t think of anything at all to get him for Christmas. I did get him a Budweiser hat but a hat wasn’t enough. So I just ordered him Deadwood season 3 on DVD. I hope he’ll like it!

I’ve been making Justin watch True Blood every night since he got here. ( Except the Night we spent in Boston of course. ) He doesn’t have HBO at home so he never got to watch it before. He loves it just like I knew he would. How can anyone not love this show?
Since I’ve been watching it with him I’ve caught on to some things I didn’t notice the first time around. A lot of “surprises” in the show were pretty apparent from the beginning if you knew what to look for.
I still can’t decide who my favorite character is. They’re all so complex and different.

I’ve always had a thing for long haired hot vampires. For years I had an obsession with Brad Pitt as Louis in Interview With The Vampire. I’ll tell you one thing though. Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise don’t got nothing on Eric from HBO’s new series “Trueblood”. This guy is ridiculously hot. His hair, his face, his body, his attitude. His attitude especially. He’s a big deal in the vampire world in this series. A Governor or something. Turned Vampire hundreds of years ago. He also owns the local vampire nightclub where the story takes place. He’s calm but no one dares mess with him. He points his finger and everyone jumps. They haven’t showed him fight or anything yet. I’m sure if he does it will be crazy. He also seems pretty fair though. Even kind of playful with Bill. I hope they show a lot more of him next season.

Last night I watched episode two of HBO’s “Trueblood” series! ( My absolute top new favorite show ), and it was even more amazing than episode number one.
WARNING, SPOLERS BELOW:
The vampire “Bill” saves “Sooky ( The waitress’s ) life. She saved his the week before when a couple was trying to drain him to sell his blood. When she was leaving work late at night the couple decided to jump her beating her to near death. Bill came just in time and killed them and fed her his blood to bring her back to life. I guess all vampires have different strengths. Some can turn into animals, some can fly and some can heal. Bill can heal.
He seems to be falling for Sookie. The next day he goes over her house and meets her grandmother. I guess he was in the civil war, and Sookies grandma has a book club called “descendents of the glorious dead”– people who had family who died fighting for the south in the civil war. So she want’s Bill to come speak to them and he agrees. After that he and Sookie take a walk and end up kissing, and she tells him the truth about her telepathy.
The show ended with her knocking on his door the next night. But to her surprise he didn’t answer. Other vampires did, and the previews for next week show them trying to harm Sookie. Although it looks like there may be a vampire fight with Bill trying to protect her. I seriously can’t wait for the next episode.

I watched the first episode of HBO’s new series “True blood” last night on demand and I have to say that it is FANTASTIC. A MILLION times better than I expected. I’m seriously looking forward to seeing this series even more than the new season of Showtime’s “The Tudors”.
The point of the series evolves around Japan inventing “True Blood” which is synthetic blood. It causes the underground vampire world to come “out of the coffin”. People also drink it to get high. And there’s a bunch of people called “Fang Bangers” who get off on sleeping with vampires. I guess there’s also prostitutes who drink Tru Blood and let vampires feed off them for a thousand dollars.
There’s also people who hunt down the vampires and drain them. I guess it makes them better in bed and heightens the senses.
That’s just the overall story— it seems the MAIN story line revolves around this girl. She’s a waitress in a small Diner down south. She’s psychic, and can hear everything everyone says inside their head. She meets a vampire and saves him from a drainer and it seems like she’s totally interested in him. Her favorite thing about him is she can’t hear inside his head. And when he touches her hand all the other voices stop while he’s touching her.
I really can not WAIT for the next episode.
Heres bloodcopy report #1. There were reports aired every week before the series started.
