Biden banned from receiving communion..

I was just reading this article on MSN. It’s mostly about how the Catholic vote is split because of the abortion issue. That’s nothing new it happens every single election. What caught my attention was the fact that VP nominee Biden, who’s a religious man and enjoys going to church was BANNED from receiving communion in this area because of his views and I assume votes on a woman’s right to chose.

I know a priest or preacher has the right to refuse services to anyone in their church for any reason. But this seems kind of crazy to me. Should someone with as much power as a Bishop in the Catholic Church be able to punish Politicians for their political views?

Okay maybe I won’t rant..

BUT, this weeks new rules aren’t up yet. When they are I sure as hell will quote them here. Bill Maher said something about Romney saying when the midwest and arizona etc stand up it will be a new age for America. Like the sun rising in the west. He then went on and on about how everything started in the east. It makes it kind of sickening how republicans now bend over backwards to backwards hicks in certain parts of the country. Now don’t get me wrong, I am in no way saying people here in New England are smarter, or that the rest of the country are ignorant rednecks. But it’s always been more liberal here. It was John Quincy who wanted to fight Britain and make this country a COUNTRY in the beginning. Massachusetts and New Hampshire fought the first battles of the war. Even JEFFERSON who was from the south took forever to get involved. Washington stood behind John Adams as an army General– not a politician. even now it’s more liberal here. My home state Massachusetts was the first in the United States to legalize gay marriage. So it makes me sick when politicians talk about New England like we’re all insane.

ESPCIALLY ROMNEY. The man raised his family here. He was our Governor for how long? Look how many restaurants he damned with his Mormon laws on smoking. Now after raising his family here. working here, ruining our state he’s going to act like we’re hell on earth. He needs to go put on his special religious underwear and go pray for stress relief and just shut the hell up.

voting!

What a choice, huh? I personally voted for Hillary in the primaries. She’s out now tho. :( It always pissed me off when people would not vote then still sit around and bitch about politicians. I figured if you aren’t going to get off your arse and vote then you have no right to cry about it. But seeing these two running.. I don’t think I’ll be voting either. I really really dislike so many things about both of them. Even if Hillary runs as Obamas second I still don’t see myself voting this year.

Who are you all voting for?
